My name is Tom Panter and I am an aspiring writer. I have searched for years to find the perfect creative outlet for myself and have exhausted many avenues but I think I have finally found a project that I am passionate enough about to stick with for more than twenty minutes! I decided sometime last year that I was going to write a comic book. I didnt just want to write a comic but I wanted to craft and create a universe that embodies everything I love about comics and my favorite genre. Sci fi. I started with just a few little ideas that slipped into my head one afternoon and since then the whole thing has snowballed more than I could have imagined. I understand that writing a comic book is a mammoth, some would say gargantuan, task but well I haven't got anything better to do! I wanted to a serious comic in the same vein as Green Lantern or Superman. A comic that would lampoon the comics I love so much yet pay considerable homage to all the influences on my work and my imagination itself.

Since that fateful day I decided to give writing a chance I have come quite far. I have written a story, added some characters and created a setting. I know I am still only 1% into my grand project but I have already had the amazing pleasure of seeing something created in the deep darkness of my imagination grace the paper. It is a great feeling I do have to say. Also after going for a 6 month trip around North America it is nice to be working on something more interested than an entry level job at some lame company. Of course I do have to work to fund my life style so I don't always get to write as much as I would like too but I have to say things are progressing further and faster than I was ever expecting them too.  I spent sporadic months of the past year working on my comic and came to Deviant art in the hopes of finding some artists and other people who might be able to help me on my way. I have already had some amazing pictures drawn for me by some deviants and hope that everyone will be as a helpful as past experiences would suggest. Anyway I thought I would start this journal as a way of documenting my progress so I guess this is phase one complete. Anyway look out Deviant artists and writers because the TechnoForce is on its way!!!
